Services for Roy Durward Post, 84, of New Braunfels were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 10, 1990, in Ralls' First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.

Burial followed in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Post died at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 6, 1990, in McKenna Memorial Hospital in New Braunfels after an illness.

He was born Sept. 10, 1905, in Madison County and was a longtime Ralls resident before moving to Azle in 1983. He moved to New Braunfels in 1987. He was a farmer and had owned the Ralls Inn from 1952 to 1969, and then he and his wife owned and operated the Tip Top Drive Inn Restaurant from 1969 until 1977 when they retired. He married Floy Woliver on Oct. 20, 1929, in Marlin. She died in 1987. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Melton, of Midland; two daughters, Jean Campbell of New Braunfels and Jane Broyles of Fort Worth; a brother, Jessie L. of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
