U.S.Flag Orvis Phillips of Ralls was buried in Ralls Cemetery following 10:30 a.m. Monday funeral rites in the First Baptist Church in Ralls. Dr. Billy Burke, pastor, officiated.

Carter-Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Mr. Phillips, 53, was claimed by death about 9 p.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

A brick mason, he was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Phillips Jr. and Renn Phillips, both of Ralls; three brothers, Hubert Phillips of Ralls, James Phillips of Seminole and Arlis Phillips of Denton; two sisters, Werdna Rowse (owner with her husband of Quality Printers in Crosbyton) and Flora Bradberry, both of Lubbock; and one grandson.
