U.S.Flag RALLS (Special) - Services for Hubert A. Phillips, 70, of Ralls will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Morrow, pastor, and Jerry Golden, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lorenzo, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Shelby County and had lived in the Ralls area most of his life. He served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He married Pauline King on April 1, 1943, in Cone. She died in 1982. He was a masonry contractor. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Ralls Rotary Club.

Survivors include a son, Dwayne of Dallas; two daughters, Patricia Joiner of Lorenzo and Diane Hewell of Clear Lake; a brother, James of Seminole; a sister, Werdna Rowse of Lubbock; six grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
