Clara Pearson

LORENZO (Special) - Services for Clara Alice Pearson, 102, of Lorenzo will be at 1 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Elmore, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Pearson died at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Humana Hospital in Abilene after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Bell County. She moved to Ralls in 1918 and to Lorenzo in 1924. She married Hilry A. Pearson in 1899 in Bell County. He died in 1947. She married Clay Pearson in 1952. He died in 1954. She was a housewife. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lorenzo. She had lived in Abilene the past five months.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bryant (Wilma) Robertson of Abilene; two stepsons, Houston of Lubbock and Robert of Santa Fe, NM; a stepdaughter, Mrs. R.A. (Lois) Moran of Dimmitt; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.
