Services for Irene Parker, 88, of Ralls were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 1994, in Carter-Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Parker died at 5:17 am. Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 29, 1906, in Bryan County, OK, and married Clarence Lee "Sharp" Parker on Sept. 19, 1924, in Paris. She was a homemaker and a member of the Emma Church of Christ. She moved to Ralls in October 1949 from Lamesa. A son, Clifford, died on Sept. 16, 1991.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Roy of Seminole, Louis of Altus, OK, and Clarence Jr. of Ralls; two daughters, Myrble Spurlock of Lamesa and Linda Chote of Ralls; a brother, Eugene Bolton of Bard, OK; two sisters, Inez Parker of Marshall and Cecil Williams of Stratford; 13 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
