U.S.Flag   Services for Alton Harrell "Pete" Parchman, 84, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Parchman died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

He was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Olney. He attended Robertson schools. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army in the South Pacific for over 4 years. He lived in the Robertson community all of his life.

Survivors include a brother, Richard Parchman of Lubbock; a sister, Wilma Graves of Idalou; and several nieces and nephews.
