Soledad Ortiz, 88, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.,Monday, June 18, 2012, in the St, Michael's Catholic Church with Father Samuel Oracion officiating. Visitation will be held form 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday June 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the personal care of Adams Funeral Home ~ Ralls.
Soledad was born in La Yerbabuena Jalisco, Mexico to the late Casimiro and Lidrada (Ortiz)Hernandez on May 9, 1924. Soledad married Hilario Ramirez in Tamazula, Jalisco Mexico in 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, and sister.
She is survived by her children, Angel Ramirez of Lubbock, Mary Hiland of SanAntonio, One first cousin Moices Avalos, her grandchildren, and great children. She is also survied by five nieces, one nephew, and many loving other friends and family. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
