Richard Obregon Services for Richard Obregon, 62, of Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls with the Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.

Rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 28, at the same church

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Sunday, June 17, 2001 at his Lubbock home.

He was born July 24, 1938, in Corpus Christi.

He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lubbock. He worked as a welder for Eagle Picher Industries for six years. He was also a musician. He moved to Lubbock 20 years ago from Dallas.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen Lovato; his father, Isidro of Ralls; two daughters, Diana Henley of Waxahachie and Melinda of Dallas; two brothers, Isidro Jr. of Crosbyton and Lupe of Ralls; three sisters, Rosa Escobar of Crosbyton, Mary Obregon of Dallas and Luz Lebano of Waxahachie; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pall bearers were Ralph Escobar, Arsenio Escobar, Jr., David Obregon, Mike Obregon, Ruben Luebano an Richard Escobar.
