Services for Isidro Obregon Sr., 97, of Ralls will be Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Ralls. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Rosary will be 7 PM in same church.
He passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Lubbock. He was born in McAllen on May 15, 1913 to the late Marcelino and Macaria (Chavez) Obregon. He married Ricarda Mercado in Corpus Christi on May 7, 1935. He moved to Ralls in 1960, he was a farmer and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, he later moved in 2006 to the Acuff area, where he attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Slaton.
Preceded in death by his wife Ricarda Obregon on November 5, 1987, four sons, Rufino, Richard, Isidro, Jr. and Lupe Obregon, and a daughter, Lupita Obregon.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosa and husband Arsenio Escobar of Acuff, Mary Obregon of Dallas, and Luz and husband Ynes Luebano of Waxahachie, a daughter in law, Victoria Obregon of Ralls, and 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
