Obituary

Funeral services for William Luke Northcutt, 76, retired farmer, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist church, with Mr. Tommy Allen, pastor, officiating.

Northcutt died at his home in Ralls at 3 a.m., March 30. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Northcutt was born March 29, 1880 in Erath county, Texas. On Nov. 6, 1898 he was married to Ada Frances Schooler. The couple had three daughters and three sons, one of which died in infancy.

The family moved from Oklahoma to Sudan in 1924 and from there to Ralls in 1929.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ell, Muleshoe; and Lem, Albuquerque; three daughters, Mrs. J.F. Prater, Ft. Worth, Mrs. Floyd Fenter, Ralls and Mrs. A.J. Cowley, Ralls; a sister, Mrs. Callie Morrison, Cahoma, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Grandsons were pallbearers: Johnny Fenter, L.G. Prater, Edward Northcutt, Kenneth Northcutt, J.B. Williams and Carl Hickam

RALLS (Special) — Funeral for Mrs. Ada Northcutt, 87, resident here since 1929 who died in a convalescent home here Wednesday night, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church.

Officiating will be the Rev. Everett McGregor. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Ell of Muleshoe and Lem of Farmington, NM; three daughters, Mrs. J.F. Prater of Fort Worth and Mrs. Floyd Fenter and Mrs. A.J. Cowley, both of Ralls; two brothers, a sister, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
