Funeral services for Lee J. Nelson, 61, of Clifton and formerly of Ralls were at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church here with the Rev,.W.O. Donley of Lubbock officiating.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Nelson died at 3 a.m. Tuesday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple.
The Coryell County native had lived in Ralls from 1946 to 1968 when he moved to Clifton. He was a retired famer and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; two sons, Vany Nelson and Bobby Deaver, both of Lubbock; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Reese of Hart Camp and Patricia Nelson of Metairie, La.; five brothers, George and Bill, both of Clifton, Almer of Cranfills Gap, Phil of Ralls and Percy of Iredell; two sisters, Mrs. Clarice Thompson of Fort Worth and Mrs. Garnet Pratt of Clifton and twelve grandchildren.
