Jimmy James Munoz, age 56, departed this life on October 21, 2014, at his home in Albuquerque, NM, with his loving family by his side. He was born August 26, 1958, in Crosbyton, TX, to Louis and Ophelia Munoz and resided in Albuquerque, NM, with his partner, Debbie Mirabal. Jimmy graduated from Ralls High School in Ralls, TX, in 1976 and worked as a truck driver for MT Trucking in Albuquerque.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ophelia Munoz. Those left to mourn his passing are his partner, Debbie Mirabal; her children, Craig and Victoria, of Albuquerque; his maternal grandmother, Ernestina Silva, of Ralls, TX; his father, Louis Munoz, of Ralls, TX; his sisters, Josie Martinez, Joanne Castillo, and Jo Linda Cruz, and his nieces and nephews, Randy, Jennifer, Renee, Nicole, and Anna Marie, all of Lubbock.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the Riverside Funeral Home on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Following the memorial service, a family gathering will be held at 5:00 at VFW Post 100, 401 Candelaria, in Alququerque. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
