U.S.Flag Graveside services for Clyde P. Moss, 82, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2001, in Ralls Cemetery with the Revs. David Price officiating and Larry Reed-Farris assisting.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001.

He was born Nov. 4, 1918, in Reed, Okla., and married Margaret Starr on Sept. 22, 1945, in Geneva, N.Y. He also had lived in Levelland before moving to Lubbock in 1965. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was attached to the Marine Corps as a medic serving in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Davis Moss of Brownville; four daughters, Martha McDaniel and Mollie Welborn, both of Lubbock, Cathy Ward of Ralls and Claire Musick of Austin; a brother, Pearson of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
