RALLS (Special) — Services for Alvin C. Morrison, 59, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. today in Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Passmore, Lubbock First Christian Church pastor, and the Rev. Bruce Parks, a retired Methodist minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Morrison died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1995, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born June 27, 1935, in Ralls. He married Jerlene Holland on Jan. 24, 1957, in Tucumcari, N.M. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree. He was a member of First Christian Church in Lubbock. A brother, Tom Morrison, preceded him in death.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Darvin of Robertson; a daughter, Kathleen Morris of Canyon; five brothers, C.T. Jr. of Bulverde, Lewis of Lorenzo, Kenneth of Ralls, Earl of Nacogdoches and J. B. of Plano; three sisters, Martha Alice Boltz of Hesperia, Mich., Emma Allred of Gilmer and Christine Houser of Wilcox, Ariz; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Jennings, H. W. Mullins, Buddy Payne, Harvey Hancock, Herbert Boyd and Wayne Rainwater.
The family suggests memorials to Lorenzo Emergency Medical Service.
