Services for J. H. "Mun" Moore, 76, of Ralls were held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 11, 1990, in the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Morrow, pastor, and Sam Estes, a retired Presbyterian Minister from Lubbock, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 1990 in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 3, 1913 in Grayson County and moved to Ralls in 1936. He married Oleta Arthur on Jan. 1, 1938, in Ralls. He was a farmer, a former Caprock schools trustee and a deacon at the First Baptist Church. He moved to the Ralls area in 1936 from Grayson County.

One brother, W. R. Moore preceded him in death during W.W.II.

Survivors include his wife, a son Edwin L. of Ralls; three daughters, Zama Norris of Ralls, Johnnie McBee of San Antonio and Betty Longbrake of Lubbock; a sister, Mary Louise Arnold of Orange County, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
