Graveside services for Charlene Moore, 73, of Lubbock, formerly of Ralls, were held Sunday, June 3, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Friday, June 1, 2001 at her Lubbock residence.
She was born Oct. 28, 1927, in Gorman, TX.
She married Warren Odell Moore on Dec. 24, 1943, in Ralls.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ralls. She was employed by Janice's World of Gifts in Crosbyton for 14 years and by Clair's Clothing in Crosbyton for five years. She moved to Ralls in 1942 from Gorman and then to Lubbock in 1998.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Hirst and Carroll Hirst who died Nov. 5, 1995.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Danny of Canton, Ill., Donny of Clinton, Okla., Warren Odell "Butch" Jr. of Lubbock and Jody of Glastonbury, Conn.; a brother, R.E. Hirst of Halton, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
