U.S.Flag RALLS (Special) - Services for Jesse W. Mize, 61, of Ralls will be at 4 p.m. today at Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Roy Shave, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mize died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

A native of Palo Pinto County, Mize had been a Ralls resident since 1938. He married Nancy Lou Walker Nov. 9, 1940, in Ralls. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, a member of the Lubbock VFW Post 2466 and a bonded member of the Locksmithing Institute of America.

He was a member of Emma Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; his father, Lee of Lubbock; three daughters, Nancille Verett of Ralls, Jerrye Groves of Seymour and Jan Wilkins of Lubbock; a son, Loni of Austin; a sister, Mrs. Bob (Gladys) Noble of Lubbock; six brothers, Allen and Eldred, both of Crosbyton, Fred of Red Oak, Lawrence of Austin and Lewis and Raymond, both of Lubbock, and six grandchildren.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
