Born to Wesley Floyd and Frances Miller in Ralls on Sept. 28, 1945, Joe Bob was raised in the small farm communities of Robertson and Lorenzo. He was baptized as a young teen at Robertson Baptist Church. In 1980, he moved to Lake Texhoma and worked at Sheppard AFB Annex for 25 years. He was presently employed at Rock Creek Resort.
He is survived by his mother, Frances; seven sisters, Catherine, Judy, Shirley, Peggy, Carol, Tammy and Lorie; and his faithful little buddy, Shorty. Joe Bob passed away on Oct. 8, 2009 at Sherman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Wes Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
