Dwayne Miller U.S.Flag Graveside services for Dwayne Miller, 51, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at Lubbock's University Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 3, 1949, in Ralls.

He was a Baptist and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the Army and the National Guard. He lived in the Lorenzo area all his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Miller, and by two sisters, Elma Hogg and Sharon Kay Doughitt, and two brothers, Dennis Harold Miller and R.E. Miller.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Miller, of Lorenzo; two sons, David Dwayne Miller of Lubbock and Jay Floyd Miller of Lorenzo; three brothers, Joe Bob Miller of Gordonville, Donald Miller of Shallowater and Harold Miller of Abernathy; eight sisters, Tammy Hatley of Lorenzo, Lorie Miller and Carol Miller, both of Lubbock, Judy Crowley and Peggy Sellers, both of Ralls, Shirley Smith of Acuff, Carlene Harvey of Madill, Okla., and Catherine McCallister of Shallowater; and three grandchildren.
