Midkiff Services Held Wednesday

Jack Alvin Midkiff, 56, of Marietta, Okla., and a former resident of Ralls, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the Crosbyton Hospital following an apparent heart attack.

Services were Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ralls with Rev. Dale Cain officiating.

Carter Funeral Home was in charge of the services. Interment was in the Ralls Cemetery.

A native of Collinsville he moved here with his parents in 1920. Several years ago he moved to Oklahoma to begin ranching.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sharon Marsh and Mrs. D'Ann Tomlinson, both of Mineral Wells; his mother, Mrs. Zora Midkiff of Ralls; two sisters, Mrs. James O'Rear of Lorenzo and Mrs. Morris Lowe of Plains; and three grandchildren.
