Services for Doyle O. Middleton, 86, of Lorenzo, were held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 1990, in Lorenzo Church of Christ with Travis Boyd, a Church of Christ minister, officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 1990, in Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Duffo and moved to Lorenzo in 1973. He married Juanita Greenwood Dec. 9, 1923, in Roaring Springs. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Thressia Henry of Temple; a brother, Bill of Afton; a sister, Mary Middleton of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerrell Greer, Jim Boydstun, George O'Rear, Jim Norris, Joey Nichols, and Mike Fulcher.
