RALLS (Special) - Rosary for Jesus "Shorty" Mendoza, 63, of Ralls will be recited at 7 p.m. today at St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the same church with Monsignor Antonio Gonzales officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Guarjardo Funeral Chapels of Lubbock.
Mendoza died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1996, at St. Mary Hospital.
He was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Bagwell. He married Sabina Mendoza on Oct. 31, 1959, in Lubbock. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls, the Cursillistas, Sacred Heart and the Men's Organization at the church.
He worked for Texas Migrant Council as a bus driver.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Esteban of Ralls; a daughter, Christina Castro of Ogden, Utah; two brothers, Edward of Ralls and Manuel of Lorenzo; two sisters, Carmen Sanchez of Ralls and Margarita Ojeda of Independence. Ore.; and two granddaughters.
