LUBBOCK — Memorial services for Joe L. Mendolla, 67, of Ralls will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in Ralls City Cemetery Chapel with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel. Joe went to be with Lord on Wednesday Dec. 31, 2014, in Lubbock.
He was born on Feb. 7, 1947, in Stamford, Texas, to the late Jessie and Virginia Mendolla. He married Andrea Levario Hernandez on July 11, 2003, in Crosbyton. He was a tire machine operator for Goodyear Tire Company. He was a lifelong resident of Ralls and a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of Ralls; six daughters, Sandra Chathman and Letcia Prado, both of Lubbock, Sonia Salazar Torres of Lorenzo, Anay Rodriguez of New York, Araceley Rodriguez and Esmeralda Rodriguez, both of Ralls; three brothers, Mike Mendolla of Ralls, Lyman Mendolla of Lubbock, Sammy Mendolla of Crosbyton; two sisters, Mary Lou Mendolla and Stella Hernandez, both of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
