Funeral services for Mrs. Jeff (Frankie Velma) Meek of Ralls were conducted at 2 p.m. last Thursday in Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Creed Mullins, minister, officiating. Burial was made in Ralls Cemetery.

Mrs. Meek was an aunt of A. F. Ogle, Melba Spurgin, Pauline Hancock, and Mrs. Grady Hancock, all of Crosbyton.

She died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a sudden illness. She was 74.

Mrs. Meek first moved to Ralls in 1920 from Denton. She moved to Graham in 1964 and returned to Ralls in 1976. A Denton native, she was married to Jeff Meek on Aug. 5, 1924, in Crosbyton.

Pallbearers were A. F. Ogle, Harley Meek, Clifton Brockett, Merle Brockett, Leon Phillips, and L. D. Phillips.
