U.S.Flag Lewis Wayne McNeely, a former Ralls resident, was buried Thursday in Ralls Cemetery following 2 p.m. Thursday memorial rites in the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls. Milton Caraway of Olton and Creed Mullins of Ralls officiated.

McNeely was an Olton resident.

The 35 year old man died about 11 p.m. Monday of last week when his pickup truck hit an embankment about nine miles north of Olton. Born in Mesa, Ark., McNeely was reared in Ralls and worked there for several years. A machinist, he resided for a short time in Lubbock and Amarillo before moving to Olton. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, the former Marilyn Braddock; three daughters, Kelly, Kristie and Kimberly, all of the home in Olton, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud McNeely of Ralls; a half-sister, Mrs. Judy Baxter of Arlington; two brothers, Charles and James McNeely, both of Ralls; and two step-brothers, Clyde and H. W. Mullins, both of Ralls.
