RALLS (Special) Services for Samuel Hubert McLane, 78, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. today at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with the Rev. Roger Garrett, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating.He died Saturday, Nov. 11, 1995, at his home.
He was born April 11, 1917, in Cameron. He married Lora Jane Gauny on Nov. 14, 1946, in Lorenzo. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Signal Corps. He moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo in 1951. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lubbock and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.
He was assistant city electrician inspector in Lubbock, and he worked in construction as an electrician.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sammye Hammack of Lubbock; and a brother, O.B. of Bronte.

Graveside services for Lora McLane, 82, of Lubbock will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Lora passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010 in Lubbock.
She was born February 2, 1928 in Crosby County to the late James Eugene and Lena (Green) Gauny. On November 14, 1946 she married Samuel McLane in Lorenzo. He preceded her in death November 11, 1995. They moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo in 1951. A homemaker, she was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sammye McLane of Lubbock and one brother, James Eugene Gauny, Jr. of Kerrville.
