Services for Mary Vera McKee, 84, of Ralls were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 1986 at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, and Jerry Bullock of San Marcos officiating.Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 1986 in the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 26, 1902 in Cameron, Texas and married William Price (Bill) McKee April 4, 1926 in Snyder, Texas. He died March 13, 1976.
She was a housewife, a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a founding member of the Ralls Study Club. She was the pianist for Ralls Rotary Club for 25 years and the Pianist and Organist for the Ralls First Baptist Church for 20 years.
Survivors include 1 son: William P. (Bill) McKee of Dallas; 1 Daughter: Mrs. Harvey (Rosemary) Stewart of Arlington, Texas; 1 Sister: Katie Green of Littlefield; 8 Grandchildren; 3 Great-grandchildren.
