RALLS - Services for W. E. McCauley, 74, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Ralls with Dr. Billy Burke, minister officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died Monday at the Crosbyton Hospital after an illness.

A native of Hopkins County, he had lived in Ralls for 33 years, moving here from Brownfield. He was a longtime employee of the West Texas Compress Co., and married Ruth Clark in Mount Pleasant on April 8, 1924.

He was a member of the Ralls Masonic Lodge and had retied after 25 years with the Ralls Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James of Lubbock; a daughter, Frances Tarleton of Lubbock; three brothers, Albert of Tyler, Max of Hooks, and Billy of Brownwood; a sister, Mrs. T. A. McIlheran of Rockport; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
