RALLS (Special) Mass for Israel Pat Martinez, 51, of Sugarland will be at 11:30 a.m. today in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls with the Rev. Glenn Rosendale officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Martinez died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, in Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston.
He was born Jan. 12, 1946, in Weslaco. He moved to Floydada in 1979.
He worked for Don Hardy Racing for 14 years. A son, Greg, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Crestina Martinez of El Campo; a son, Gerry of Ralls; two daughters, Serena Flores of Lubbock and Christina Martinez of Floydada; three sisters, Hortencia Jimenez of San Antonio, Mary Ellen Benavidez of El Campo and Lupe Esquibel of Sugarland; and six grandchildren.
