Guadalupe Garza Martinez 49 of Lubbock passed away October 4, 2013. Rosary Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday October 8, 2013 at the San Micheal Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 9, 2013 at the same church. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Guadalupe was born December 12, 1963 in Lubbock Texas to Juan and Ofelia Martinez Garza. She loved cooking, baking, camping and spending time with her family. She had a big heart and was always willing to help people.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by her mother Ofelia Garza and Robert Lee Jr Martinez.
She is survived by her husband Leo Guiterrez, her father Juan Garza, five daughters: Ofelia Riojas of Georgia, Rebecca Lee Martinez of Lubbock, Beronica Lee Rendon of Ralls, Racheal Ann Rodriguez of Ralls, and Anacleta Marie Martinez of Lubbock. She leaves behind a son Samuel Andrew Martinez of Lubbock and seven sisters: Agurora Pereles of Lubbock, Christina Veldez of California, Benita Segura of Lubbock, Irene Flores of Lubbock, Anita Sanchez of Lubbock, Margarita Garza of Lubbock, and Rebecca Auguilar of Michigan. Guadalupe will also be missed by her ten grandchildren.
