Mass for Guadalupe "Lupe" Garcia Martinez, 48, of Ralls will be celebrated Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at the San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Lupe died Saturday, December 4, 2004 near Ralls.
He was born December 12, 1955 in Santa Adelaida, Mexico to Carlos and Paula (Garcia) Martinez. He married Maria Minor on October 31, 1975 in Floydada.
He moved to the Ralls area in 1976 from Floydada and had worked for Prewitt and DJJ Farms for 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his father in 1989.
Survivors include; his wife Maria of Ralls, six children; Oscar Martinez of Ocala, FL, Guadalupe Martinez, Jr. of Ocala, FL, Merlanda Velasquez of Ralls, Mitchelle Garcia of Mobile, AL, Marce Lance Martinez and Adelaida Elizabeth Martinez both of Ralls, three brothers; Mario Martinez of Brownsville, Carlos Martinez of Tyler, Juan Martinez of Matamoros, Mexico, four sisters; Paula Vasquez, Chela Cardenaz, Magae Zuniga and Chavila Rodriguez all of Tyler, four grandchildren; Marcus Martinez, Audrey Velasquez, Mikayla Martinez and Christian Velasquez.
