RALLS (Special) - Services for Gregg Martinez, 24, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Waylon Bruton, pastor of Crosbyton's First Assembly of God Church, and Jessie Cisneros, pastor of Lubbock's New Life Ministries, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m. Friday in his residence.

He was born in Slaton and moved to Lubbock from Ralls High School and South Plains College. He married Sandra Fira on Aug. 29, 1986, in Ralls. He worked at University Medical Center as a respiratory therapist. He was a member of the Respiratory Therapist Association and the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Zachary B. and Dillon R., both of Lubbock; his father, Pat Martinez of Floydada; his mother, Mary Lou Mendolla of Ralls; a brother, Gerry of Ralls; a stepbrother, Jonathan of Floydada; a sister, Serena A. of Ralls; a half sister, Christina of Floydada; his maternal grandparents, Jessie and Virginia Mendolla of Ralls; and his paternal grandparents, Amador and Christina Martinez of Ralls.

The family suggests memorials to the Gregg Martinez Memorial Fund, University Medical Center Foundation Office, P.O. Box 5980, Lubbock 79417.
