RALLS (Special) - Rosary for Amador C. Martinez, 86, of Ralls will be recited at 7 p.m. today in St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Leatham officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael with the same officiant.Burial under direction of Adams Funeral Home will be in Ralls Cemetery.
Martinez died Sunday, April 16, 1995, in Horizon Specialty Hospital in Lubbock following an illness.
He was born Aug. 10, 1908, in Brownsville and married Christina Ramirez on Jan. 1, 1925 in El Charco. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, the Sacred Heart and Woodmen of the World He moved to Ralls from El Campo in 1957.
He was a bricklayer, barber and a nurseryman.
He was preceded in death by a son, Marcelo Martinez, on March 7, 1991, and by a grandson, Gregg Martinez, on Nov. 13, 1992.
