Graveside services for Lawrence Martin, 78, of McKinney, formerly of Ralls, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 in Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Burial will follow at the Ralls cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Lawrence passed away Thursday, Sep. 30, 2010 in McKinney, Texas after a long illness. The youngest of four children, Lawrence was born on Nov. 11, 1931 in Crosby County to Rollie Voiles and Pearl Frances (Mallow) Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jerry Don Martin; two sisters, Mary Frances Pyle and Bonnie Ezell; and one brother, C. L. Martin.
Survivors include a son, James L. Martin Jr. "Jim" of McKinney; a daughter, Sharon Kay Martin of Garland; and grandchildren, James "Ricky" Martin, Christopher Martin, Courtney Lincks and Keven Sticher.
