U.S.Flag RALLS (Special) - Services for Jerry Martin, 40, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.

Military graveside services will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 10:12 a.m. Thursday in Dallas' Veterans Administration Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Crosbyton and moved from Chicago, Ill., to Plainview in 1991. He was a carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his father, Lawrence Martin of Plainview; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Laurence Gould of Dallas; two brothers, James Martin Jr. of Plano and Glen L. Didway of Van Buren, Ark.; and two sisters, Sharon Martin of Dallas and Diana K. Lincks of Fort Smith, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Laren Craig, Kim Craig, Wayne Pyle, Try Pyle, Tony Martin and David Pyle.
