George W. Martin was born in Alabama in 1903. He married Alice Tucker in Crosby County in Jan. 1931. He died in a Lubbock Hospital after falling ill to meningitis in New Mexico. He was survived by his wife, Alice Martin and their two daughters Virginia Martin and Georgia Martin of the home.He was preceeded in death by a 2 year old daughter with pneumonia, Ruby Lee Martin in 1935.
