
Services for Frances "Sissy" Pevey Martin, 55, of Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 1999, at Ralls First Baptist church with the Rev. Jackie Farmer of Lubbock officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. She died at 2:45 a.m. Friday, May 28, 1999, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 14, 1943, in Gober, TX, to James Pevey and Elsie Lindsey Pevey.
She was a Baptist. She lived in Lubbock most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Pevey; three brothers, James Pevey, Jr., Elmer Pevey and Charles Pevey; and two sisters, Thelma Carter and Mildred Gilmore.
Survivors include Kathy and Rodney Green, Judd Bennett and a special friend, Bob Gannon, all of Spur; four brothers, Buddy Pevey, Jim Pevey, Doug Pevey and Butch Pevey, all of Lubbock; three sisters, Julia Robinson, Eva Wigley and Jean Cantrell, all of Lubbock; an numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Sonny Pevey, Billy Pevey, Stan Wigley, Clay Cantrell, Tooter Pevey, and Alan Terry.
