U.S.Flag   Memorial services for Elvis "Bill" Martin, a Crosby County resident most of his life, were at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Ralls. The Rev. C. M. Fields, a Baptist minister from Sweetwater, officiated.

Mr. Martin was 58.

Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.

A Bosque County native, Mr. Martin came with his family to Crosby County as a child. He and the former Ona Mae Ford were married Aug. 9, 1941, in Crosbyton.

A farmer, Martin was a member of First Baptist Church, the Ralls Masonic Lodge, and the Lubbock Scottish Rite.

He was claimed by death at 10:35 a.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Ricky Martin of Ralls; one daughter; Mrs. Larry Ashley of Ralls; his mother, Nora Martin of Cone; a brother, R. L. Martin, Jr. of Cone; a sister, Mrs. Weems Jones of Los Alamos, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
