Obituary

C.L. MartinServices for C. L. Martin, 86, of Ralls will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 27, 2006 in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Carson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. C. L. passed away Saturday morning, March 25, 2006 at the Crosbyton Hospital. He was born May 1, 1919 in Crosby County, Texas to the late Rollie Voiles and Pearl Frances (Mallow) Martin. On January 20, 1945 he married Windal E. "Della" Key in Ralls. A lifelong resident of the Ralls area, C. L farmed for 50 years in the Robertson community and also owned and operated the Kwik Kar car wash in Ralls from 1987 to 2001. He was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Mary Frances Pyle and Bonnie Ezell. Survivors include his wife, Della of Ralls, a son and his wife, Tony and Shirley Martin of Ralls, a daughter and her husband, Rita and Richard Brown of Lubbock, a brother, Lawrence Martin of McKinney and 3 grandchildren; Adina Stutzman and her husband Micky, Kasey Brown and Cody Brown and 1 great grandson, Luke Stutzman.

Serving as casket bearers will be Dwain Goodson, Dean Key, Leslie Key, Randy Key, Terry Key, James Martin, Wayne Pyle and Lonnie Guzman.

The family suggests memorials to VistaCare Hospice, 1102 Slide Road, Suite 3, Lubbock, Tx 79416 or to Ralls First Baptist Church, Box 667, Ralls, Tx 79357.

Della Martin 84 of Lubbock, formerly of Ralls passed away May 24, 2015.

She was born June 25, 1930 in Fannin County Texas to William Claude Key and Faye Dorkis Rushing. She married C.L. Martin on January 20, 1945 in Ralls. Della worked for many years at the Ralls Flower Shop and then at the Ralls Museum. She loved playing forty two and will be deeply missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Claude and Johnny Key,one sister Margaret Rodgers, and husband C.L. Martin.

Della is survived by a daughter; Rita Brown and husband Richard of Lubbock, a son; Tony Martin and wife Shirley of Lubbock. She also leaves behind two brothers; Don, and Mickey Key both of Lubbock and two sisters; Louise Goodson, and May Hargrove and husband Don both of Lubbock. Della also will be missed by her three grandchildren; Adina Stutzman and husband Micky, Kasey Simmons and husband Kade, and Cody Brown and Katy and one great-grandson Luke Stutzman.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 27, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Ralls. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
