Graveside services for Bill Malone, 92, of Ralls were held Thursday, Oct. 6, 1988, in Ralls Cemetery with Elba Hall, a Church of Christ minister in Ralls, officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1988, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Hamilton County and moved from Taylor County to the Ralls area 43 years ago. He married Geneva Dawkins on May 1, 1919, in Anson. He was a ginner for 60 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Earney J. of Abilene and Thomas J. of Lubbock; two daughters, Lucille Coker and Lela Leftwich, both of Ralls; a brother, Lee, of Houston; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) - Private graveside services for Geneva Malone, 86, of Ralls were 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ralls Cemetery with Dennis May, minister of Emma Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial was under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 4 p.m. Monday in Lubbock's St. Mary's Skilled Nursing Plaza after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Mount Calm and moved from Taylor County to Ralls in 1945. She married William Thomas Malone on May 1, 1919, in Anson. He died in 1988. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ. A son, Bud, died in 1988.

Survivors include a son, Thomas J. of Lubbock; two daughters, Lucille Coker and Lela Leftwich, both of Ralls; two brothers, Alva Dawkins of Baird and Pebbie Dawkins of San Angelo; three sisters, Artie Callaway of Paris, Ind., Mae Harrelson of Deming, N.M., and Addie Dowis of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
