Obituary

RALLS (Special) - Services for Ira C. Maddox, 84, Meadow, will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Ralls First Baptist Church, the Rev. C.M. Fields, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Maddox died about 7 a.m. Thursday at Green Memorial Hospital, Muleshoe.

Born in Tennessee, he was a retired farmer. Maddox had made his home at Meadow since 1948, moving there from Ralls where he had resided since 1934. He moved to Ralls from Paris.

Surviving are a son, John W. Maddox, Muleshoe; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Williiams, Houston, Mrs Alvis Reese, Meadow, and Mrs. Porter Norrell, Sayre, OK; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Last rites today for Mrs. Nancy Maddox

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Velma Maddox, 72, are to be held at 2:30 P.M. today (Thursday) in Ralls First Baptist Church, with Mrs. C. M. Fields, pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Maddox died Tuesday in a Littlefield rest home.

Survivors are the husband, Ira; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Williams, Houston Mrs. Alvie Reese, Meadow and Mrs. Porter Norrell, Oklahoma son, Willie, Muleshoe; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. George White, Ralls and Mrs. Otho Northam, Henrietta, Okla.; a brother, Odis Brazeal, Paris, and 15 great-grandchildren.
