Services for Alma Bell Acker Lyle, 86, of Ralls were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 1986, in the Ralls First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Ray, pastor, officiating.

Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

She died at 9 p.m. Thursday, October 9th, 1986 in the Crosbyton Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born August 28, 1900 in Eastland County, Texas and married Tim Dick Lyle August 28, 1928 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death December 6, 1983.

She was a member of the Ralls First United Methodist Church and the United Building Program from 1950-61. She was a member of the Ralls Study Club, the Joy Club, the St. Citizens Club and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a former employee of the Security State Bank and Trust Co. in Ralls for 28 years. She moved to Cone in 1924 from Rising Star (Eastland County) Texas.

Survivors: 1 son: Bill Lyle of Ralls; 1 Daughter-in-law: Robbye Lyle of Ralls; 2 Grandchildren: Madison Lyle of Texas A&M at College Station and Christy Lynn Lyle of Ralls.

Pall Bearers: James Stokes, Joe Priddy, Gary Jordan, David Prewitt, Jim Boydstun, Mike Stevens, George Doak, Alan Brashears.

Honorary Pall Bearers: Raymond Ralls, Walker Watkins.
