Oleta Lorenzen, 90, of Ralls, Passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Ralls. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. T.J. Messer officiating. Burial will follow at the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home-Ralls.
Oleta was born on March 5, 1921 in Ralls, Texas to the late Wiley Henry and Ollie Elizabeth (Stoker) Anstead, Sr. She grew up in Ralls and graduated from Ralls High School. Oleta worked for PP&G in Lubbock and then Colorado for 42 years, where she met and married her husband James Lorenzen on January 24, 1984. After the passing of her husband, James she returned to Ralls. Oleta was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and a member of the Glory Singers who sang at the Ralls Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lorenzen in September 24, 1995, three brothers, J. R. "Dead Eye" Anstead, Ulric Anstead, Lenard Anstead and one nephew, Jerry Anstead.
Oleta is survived by one brother Wiley Anstead, Jr. of Ralls, four nephews and four nieces, numerous nieces and nephews, one step-son and two step-daughters , four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Ralls Funeral Home from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, November 3, 2011.
