Funeral services for Betty Darden Lockwood, 22, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 1, in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Parks, Lorenzo Methodist minister officiating, assisted by Rev. Roy Davidson, Baptist pastor.

Mrs. Lockwood died about 2 a.m. Sunday in Highland Hospital, Lubbock. She had been a lifelong resident of Lorenzo until about two weeks ago when she moved to Alamosa, Colo., with her husband, Robert Lockwood, and children.

She was a graduate of Lorenzo High School and attended Texas Tech. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mark William, 2, and Ronald Bruce, 10 months; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Darden, Lorenzo; three sisters, Miss Bobbie Jean Darden, Lorenzo, Mrs. Price Mathison, Bremond, Tex., and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Louemma Wristen, Lubbock.

Pallbearers were Wendell Jones, Bobby Joe Jennings, Joe David Darden, Wendell Aycock, Walter Ellis Brown and Donald Aycock.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.
