Funeral services for Joseph Walter Lindsey 84, of San Angelo and formerly of Ralls will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Carter-Adams Funeral Home, officiated by Roy Shave of Emma Church of Christ in Ralls.

Burial will be at Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Sunday morning at Baptist Memorial Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in San Angelo after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Mustkein, Iowa, August 24, 1899. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.

He was a member of Emma Church of Christ in Ralls.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude of San Angelo; a son, James W. of Midland; a stepson, Melvin Lee Burke of Tahoka; a grandson; four great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
