Lewis Lindley

Services for Lewis F. Lindley, 83, of Ralls, were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ralls Church of Christ with P. M. Oden, a Lubbock minister, officiating. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery.

Mr. Lindley died at 3:15 a.m. Friday in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The Wood County native moved to Ralls in 1923 from Wellington. He married Era Lucilla Maupin in Durant, Okla., Sept. 10, 1915. She died July 30, 1954.

Survivors include one son, Alvie Lindley of Ralls; a daughter, Louise Lindley of Ralls; a brother, Henry Lindley of Siloam Spring, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Seawright of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Ethyl Slaton of California; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
