Graveside services for Agnes Ligon, 87, of Lubbock were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 1988, in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Robert T. Metzger, pastor of Ralls' First United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial was under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died at 9:32 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 1988, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Red River County and moved from Ralls to Lubbock in 1939. She married Noel J. Ligon on Dec. 22, 1922, in Ralls. He died on Jan. 1, 1967. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include a son, Howard of Lubbock; a brother, Joe Smith of Kingsland; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchild.
