RALLS (Special) - Graveside services for Ruth King Lewis,85, of Katy will be at 2 p.m. today in Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Howard Marcom officiating.

Burial will be under direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home

She died Sunday afternoon in Katyville Nursing Home of natural causes.

The Colorado native moved to Ralls in 1917, living there most of her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She owned and operated a gift shop in Ralls for 20 years. She married Carl Lewis on Aug. 12, 1917 in Floydada.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Bill of Katy; three sisters, Mrs. Bob Turner, Mrs. Fran Goggins and Mrs. Russell Chaney, all of Sulpher Springs; and a grandchild.

Graveside services for Carl Lewis, 87, of Katy, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Marcom, pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial was under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home here.

He died about 3 p.m. at Katyville Health Care Center after an illness.

The Stonewall County native was a retired banker and insurance man in Ralls. He was employed by Security State Bank from 1917 until his retirement in 1974.

The veteran of World War I was married to Ruth King, Aug. 12, 1917, at Floydada. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill of Katy, and a grandson.
