RALLS (Special) - Services for Maude Schluter Legg, 80, of Brownwood will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Legg died at 5:10 p.m. Friday in Brownwood Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Milam County and married William Robert Schluter on Sept. 26, 1931, in Lovington, N.M. He died on June 3, 1967. She married Peyton Law Legg on Feb. 26, 1968, in Ralls. He died on July 27, 1980. She was a member of the Victory Sunday School Class and Ralls First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a past member of the Garden Club, Quilting Club and Sewing Club.

Survivors include two stepsons, Max of Garland, and Gene of Dumas; three daughters, Whynona Easter of Brownwood, Joyce Schutte of Fredericksburg, Va., and Dianne Charlton of Franklin; two brothers, Burnis Whited of Cameron and James M. Whited of Molano; two sisters, Hallie Price of Henderson and Pearl Schaefer of Hereford; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Troy Payne, Robert Stanley, Sheldon Ivie, Craig Easter, Chad Easter, Peyton Legg, Gene Legg, Troy legg, Jeff Legg, and Joe Spiller.
