U.S.Flag Services for Lee J. Lauterdale, 71, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in A.W. Wilson Chapel of Jamison's Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Barnes officiating.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery.

Lauterdale died Monday, Sept. 22, 1997, at his residence.

He was born March 3, 1926, in Ralls. He had served in the U.S. Army and Navy.

He was a minister at Lyon's Chapel Baptist Church in Lubbock for a few years.

Survivors include his wife, Mable; two daughters, Mary Louise of Terry County and Shirley of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, A.Y. of Ralls; and several grandchildren.
